Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities:
- Develop core interaction logic for an interactive apartment walkthrough app in Unreal Engine 5.
- Implement UI elements (popup menus, SKU selectors) using UMG and/or Slate.
- Work with Blueprints and C++ to enable furniture swapping, material changes, and lighting variations.
- Integrate a vendor SKU database (JSON, SQLite, or API) dynamically into the scene.
- Optimize performance (frame rate, asset loading, light baking, etc.) for real-time interactivity.
- Collaborate with 3D artists and visualizers to ensure smooth integration of assets and interactivity.
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers.
Required Skills
- Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience with Unreal Engine (Blueprints & C++).
- Proven experience in developing real-time interactive apps or architectural walkthroughs.
- Familiarity with UMG (Unreal Motion Graphics) and UI logic.
- Strong understanding of asset optimization, LODs, and draw calls.
- Experience with database/file parsing (SQLite, JSON, CSV).
- Experience in full-stack development using the MERN stack.
- Experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and Agile development methodologies
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Bonus:
- Knowledge of VR optimization.
- Experience working with APIs.
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience with Postgres Sql , Mongo DB
